Occupiers’ Journal is a global learning and development organization serving real estate and workplace “end users” with whom we engage and exchange data, knowledge, experience, and case studies in a confidential environment.

Our primary offering to fulfill that vision is the GRID Program, an annual membership initiative designed exclusively for end-user facilities and real estate professionals (“occupiers”) to help shape what we see as a fundamental transformation in the role of FM within organisations.

The mission of the GRID program is to enhance the strategic capabilities of workplace management by sharing the challenges and best practices for aligning workplace strategy, corporate strategy, key business unit requirements, and peer functions, such as HR, IT, and corporate real estate.

Thus we believe it is time to step back, take stock of the current state of the FM profession, and examine how it is currently functioning. Our goal is to redefine the role of FM and to continually report on how FM is organized and managed, as well as the  challenges FM executives face as they focus on aligning workplace strategy and design to business performance.

Our other offerings, services, and capabilities are spelled out in detail in the “What We Do” section of this website.
